What products do you use?
We use a variety of brands specifically selected for their individual properties. MAC, Giorgio Armani, Clinique, Nars, Lancôme, Dermalogica, Estee Lauder, Chanel and Bobbi Brown are a few of our favourites. Products are chosen based on their suitability to your look and skin type. If you have any special requests or if you are allergic to anything (including latex) please let your artist know in advance.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in London but work all over the UK. 45p per mile will be added to the invoice for travel over 10 miles from the artists house.
Do I need to book a trial?
It is always recommended.
When should I book a trial?
You can book your trial any time before your big day but ideally you'll be booked in 2-4 months before hand.
Where does the trial take place?
We can come to you, you can come to us or anywhere that is convenient for you. (Surcharge / travel expenses may be added depending where you want us.)
Do I need to bring anything to the trial?
If you can, please bring along a photo of your dress, inspirational images are also useful and any hair accessories you are planning to wear, including your veil. It's not a problem if you can't bring them along.
How long will the trial last & what happens?
Your trial will usually last about 2-4 hours or until you are completely happy with your look. We will have a chat to find out exactly what you are looking for, chatting through your wedding theme, colour scheme, hairstyles, dress, how much makeup you usually wear and we tailor it to you, so you will feel exactly like you, just a very special you!
We keep a record of all the products used and take photos so we can reproduce exactly the same look on your big day.
The Wedding Day
How long will my makeup & hair take on my wedding day?
We will work out how long it takes from your initial trial but it usually takes 45 minutes to an hour for makeup and an hour for your hair, but this of course depends on your style.
If other guests also require makeup and hair we need to know in advance so we can schedule them in.
It's always recommend doing your makeup last so it looks perfect for your big entrance.
What will actually happen on my wedding day?
We will arrive early to set up and will come fully prepared. We will know by then the timings for hair and makeup for everyone involved. Each bride and wedding party is different so we send you a customised schedule which fits around your wedding day plan.
Booking & Payment
How do I secure the date and book an artist?
We require a refundable booking deposit of £100 which will be deducted from the final balance. This will secure the trial and wedding date. If you decide not to book your artist the booking deposit will be refunded provided it is within 48 hours of the trial and up to 6 weeks before your wedding day.
How do I pay for the trial?
Payment must be made to your Makeup Artist in cash on the day of the trial.
How do I pay the balance?
Payment must be made to your Makeup Artist in cash on the morning of your wedding or by bank transfer prior to it.
Can I book Boho Belle Artists for other events?
